Litigation Services
Thailand is a country with civil law. The majority of laws are codified, and Thai courts are not constrained by earlier rulings like those in common law states. Although adhering to prior Supreme Court rulings, known as stare decisis, is not required in practice, it often has a persuasive impact on the resolution of conflicts.
Our litigation team has thousands of hours of collective expertise arbitrating a variety of cases in Thai courts, from lower courts all the way up to the Supreme Court. All of our litigation attorneys are fluent in both English and a second language, which allows for a high degree of communication and transparency throughout the whole process.
We are authorities in Thai law and frequently offer official recommendations to clients and attorneys in other countries, particularly in the US, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia, as well as counsel to foreign governments.
