BOI Thailand, also known as the Thailand Board of Investment, was founded in 1997 to offer financial advantages to both foreign and domestic business owners who wanted to participate in the activities that the agency advocated. A government organization within the Office of the Prime Minister is the Office of the Board of Investment. Promoting sound investment, both in Thailand and abroad, is one of its primary functions and responsibilities.
